The proposed development
EcoPower Suffolk Solar is a proposed solar and energy storage development that would generate clean, renewable electricity and have an anticipated export capacity of about 250MW.
The development includes:
- solar panels
- battery energy storage
- supporting infrastructure to connect to the electricity network.
Once built, the proposed development would generate enough electricity to power about 75,000 homes.
Our consultation is now open. We are consulting on our updated proposals between 22 June and 16 August 2026. Your feedback will help shape the final design before we submit an application for development consent.
